About Cambridge Craftsman
Cambridge Craftsman, LLC specializes in historic restoration in the greater Cambridge area, using sustainable materials (please don’t ask us to install PVC composite decking). We were early adopters and have been evangelizing products such as Acre, by Modern Mill, a rice-husk based exterior trim, siding, and decking material. Most of our projects involve restoring or creating architectural detail on porches, as well as deck building, custom garden studios, bike and bin sheds, and bluestone and stone walls.
I have always had a passion for creating beautiful things with my hands and was encouraged by my family and friends to apply these skills commercially after a career in software and higher-ed.
I have lived in Cambridge since the early 90’s – you may see me running around Fresh Pond or at the Down Under Yoga Studio. I’m an alumni of Suffolk University’s Executive MBA program and grew up in the western Finger Lakes region of NY State, where I sharpened my carpentry skills from a young age.
